Why Anuja Solutions

Why Renew Motor Insurance

Through Us?

Most people renew their policy in a hurry without understanding what they're buying. We make sure you get the right coverage at the right price.

🎯

Right Policy, Not Just Cheapest

We match the policy to your actual usage, vehicle age, and risk — not just the lowest premium. Cheap isn't always best.

📊

IDV Explained Correctly

Most people don't know their IDV is being set wrong. We explain how it works and ensure you're not underinsured at claim time.

🏆

NCB Protected

We make sure your No Claim Bonus carries forward correctly and guide you on NCB protection add-ons if relevant.

No Policy Lapse

A lapsed policy — even by one day — means loss of NCB, fresh vehicle inspection requirement, and higher premiums. We remind and renew on time.

💯

Claim Settlement Ratio Checked

We only recommend insurers with strong claim settlement records — so your policy actually works when you need it.

🤝

Personal Advisor, Not a Portal

You speak directly with a certified POSP advisor. No chatbots, no call centres, no confusion.

Policy Types

Which Motor Insurance

Policy Is Right for You?

There are three types of motor insurance in India. We explain each one honestly and recommend based on your situation.

Third Party (TP)

Mandatory by law. Covers damage to others.

  •  Legally mandatory — required by law
  •  Covers third-party damage & injury
  •  Lowest premium of all options
  •  Does NOT cover your own vehicle
  •  No cover for theft or natural disaster
  •  No add-ons available

Ideal for: Older vehicles (7+ years), low-usage vehicles, or tight budget situations.

Most Recommended

Comprehensive

Third Party + Own Damage. Best overall cover.

  •  Covers third-party damage & injury
  •  Covers your own vehicle damage
  •  Covers theft, fire & natural calamities
  •  Add-ons available (Zero Dep, Engine etc.)
  •  Cashless repair at network garages
  •  Higher premium than TP only

Ideal for: Daily use vehicles up to 7 years old. Best value for money for most car owners in India.

Own Damage (OD)

Covers your vehicle only. Requires active TP.

  •  Covers damage to your own vehicle
  •  Can be purchased separately
  •  Add-ons available
  •  Does NOT cover third-party damage
  •  Must have active TP policy alongside
  •  More flexibility in insurer choice
  •

Ideal for: Owners who already have TP with one insurer and want OD from another for better rates.

Policy Add-ons

Important Add-ons to

Consider When Renewing

Add-ons are optional but can save you significantly at claim time. We explain which ones are genuinely worth it for your situation.

🔒

Zero Depreciation

Insurer pays the full replacement cost without depreciation deductions. Highly recommended for vehicles under 5 years.

⚙️

Engine Protection

Covers engine damage from waterlogging or oil leakage — standard policies exclude this. Essential for flood-prone cities.

🏆

NCB Protection

Protects your No Claim Bonus even if you make one small claim. Prevents premium jump at next renewal.

🔑

Return to Invoice

In case of total loss or theft, insurer pays the original purchase price — not the depreciated IDV.

🛞

Tyre Protection

Standard policies don't cover tyre damage. This add-on covers tyre and tube repair or replacement.

🛡️

Personal Accident Cover

Mandatory for owner-driver. Covers disability and accidental death. Ensure this is active in your policy.

🚗

Roadside Assistance

24×7 help for breakdown, flat tyre, battery jump-start, fuel delivery, and towing to nearest garage.

🔧

Consumables Cover

Covers cost of nuts, bolts, engine oil, coolant, and other consumables replaced during repairs — normally excluded.

No Claim Bonus

How No Claim Bonus (NCB)

Works in India

NCB is a discount you earn for every claim-free year. It can save you up to 50% on your Own Damage premium — but only if you renew on time and protect it correctly.

🟢 1 Year Claim-Free (🎁 Get 20% NCB Discount)
Your first reward for maintaining a claim-free driving record.

🟢 2 Consecutive Claim-Free Years (🎁 Get 25% NCB Discount)
Your savings continue to grow with responsible driving.

🟢 3 Consecutive Claim-Free Years (🎁 Get 35% NCB Discount)
Enjoy a significant reduction in your insurance premium.

🟢 4 Consecutive Claim-Free Years  (🎁 Get 45% NCB Discount)
Almost half of your OD premium can be saved.

🟢 5+ Consecutive Claim-Free Years (🎁 Get 50% NCB Discount)
Maximum NCB benefit — protect it by renewing on time.

⚠️Important:
If your policy lapses — even by a single day — your entire NCB is reset to zero. You also lose the right to cashless claims during the lapsed period. Always renew at least 7 days before expiry. We remind you and handle the renewal so this never happens.

What We Prevent

Common Motor Insurance

Renewal Mistakes We Help You Avoid

1

Renewing Only for the Lowest Price

The cheapest policy often has poor claim settlement ratios. We check the insurer's track record before recommending.

2

Setting IDV Too Low

A low IDV means a low premium but a very low payout in case of total loss. We set the right IDV for your vehicle.

3

Not Protecting Your NCB

Making a small claim can wipe out 20–50% NCB discount. We advise when to claim and when to pay from pocket.

4

Letting Policy Lapse

Even one day of lapse resets NCB to zero and requires fresh vehicle inspection. We ensure renewal happens on time.

5

Buying Unnecessary Add-ons

Agents sometimes push add-ons you don't need. We only recommend what genuinely suits your vehicle and usage.

6

Not Checking Policy Exclusions

Many customers are shocked at what's excluded. We explain the fine print before you commit — no surprises at claim time.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions —

Motor Insurance Renewal

We recommend renewing at least 7 to 15 days before expiry. This gives enough time to compare options, process the policy, and avoid any risk of lapse. Most insurers allow renewal up to 90 days before expiry without losing your existing NCB.

If your policy lapses, you lose your entire NCB accumulated over the years, your vehicle needs a fresh physical inspection before the new policy is issued, and you remain uninsured for the lapsed period. This is one of the most expensive mistakes — we prevent it by reminding and assisting well in advance.

Yes — you are free to switch insurers at every renewal. Your NCB transfers with you as long as there's no lapse. We help you evaluate whether your current insurer is still the best option or whether switching makes financial sense for your situation.

For vehicles under 5 years old, Zero Depreciation is almost always worth it. Without it, the insurer deducts depreciation on replaced parts — which can significantly reduce your claim payout. For older vehicles, the cost-benefit needs to be evaluated case by case. We advise you honestly.

IDV (Insured Declared Value) is the current market value of your vehicle and the maximum amount your insurer will pay in case of total loss or theft. Setting IDV too low reduces your premium but severely limits your payout. Setting it too high increases premium unnecessarily. We set the correct IDV every time.
